Sondra Perry: “Resident Evil”

Emerging, African-American video artist Sondra Perry (b. 1986) takes up questions of societal conventions and black identity, using the allegorical lens of the Alien movie franchise to reconsider how agents of power behave when their subjects become unpredictable.

Book Arts Fellowship Series XIII Exhibition

With generous funding from the Jerome Foundation and technical guidance from Minnesota Center for Book Arts, the Fellowship recipients Eric Gjerde, Dana LeMoine, and Aki Shibata developed independent projects over the year-long program. The Fellowship culminates in a group exhibition at MCBA.

The Travel and Study Grant Program application is now open with a deadline of December 8, 2016. The Jerome Emerging Composer / Sound Artist Fellowship Program is open with a deadline of January 26, 2017.

The Foundation will open the application for the New York City and Minnesota Film,Video, and Digital Production Grant Program grant on May 1, 2017.
