Accessibility

Amanda Lovelee, Urban Flower Field.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Jerome Foundation website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Jerome Foundation website.

Our application process uses Submittable, which also has a target of Level AA. You can find out more at their accessibility statement. Submittable has also attained a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (or VPAT).

How are we doing?

We're working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realize there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we're doing to make that happen.

1.2.4: Captions (Live)

We will offer closed caption services for webinar viewers who request it.

1.2.3: Audio Description or Media Alternative (Prerecorded)

Moving forward, as we create new webinars that we post on the site, we will post PDF downloads of the presentations referenced in the webinar.

Let us know what you think.

If you enjoyed using the Jerome Foundation website, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please get in touch. We’d like to hear from you in any of the following ways:
