The majority of her time will be spent with the Bayanihan Dance Troupe in Manila. Agustin's plan is to investigate as many dances as possible to blend into her modern dance vocabulary.

Musician Marc Anderson received a grant for seven weeks of travel in Ghana, Guinea and New York City. The travel period will be taken up with intense study of traditional West African and Afro-Caribbean drumming techniques. In Ghana, Anderson will continue his study and performance of traditional drumming; in Guinea, he'll establish connections for a longer stay in the future and, at the same time, study djembe and dzudzun drumming. In New York City, Anderson will study traditional Cuban and Haitian drumming.
