Franconia Sculpture Park, Shafer, Minnesota, received $39,000 in support of the 2018 Emerging Artist Fellowship Program, providing residency and installation opportunities to six emerging three-dimensional artists from Minnesota and New York City to create large-scale sculpture to be exhibited at Franconia's 43-acre sculpture park.

Lower East Side Printshop, New York, New York, received $15,000 in support of eight emerging artists for Keyholder Residencies in FY2018.  Artists will receive free studio access for a full year, free materials, technical assistance, stipends, exhibitions, career development workshops, and networking opportunities.

Art in General, Brooklyn, New York, received $40,000 over two years to support the New Commissions program in 2017 and 2018.

Bronx Museum of the Arts received $40,000 ($20,000 per year for two years) to support the 2016 and 2017 Artists in the Marketplace Program and the 2017 Biennial Exhibition for New York City-based emerging artists.

Camera Club of New York received $36,000 ($18,000 per year for two years) to support four solo exhibitions by New York City-based emerging artists in the Workspace Residency Program.

Forecast Public Art, Saint Paul, Minnesota, received $80,000 over two years to support Project Grants and Research & Development Grants to emerging artists based in Minnesota in 2017 and 2018.

Highpoint Center for Printmaking received $40,000 ($20,000 per year for two years) to support the Emerging Printmakers’ Residencies Program for Minnesota-based artists.

The Laundromat Project, New York City, received $34,500 over two years in support of the Create Change Artist Residencies and Commissions program in 2017 and 2018.

Minneapolis College of Art and Design received  $220,000 ($110,000 per year for two years) to support the 2016-17 and 2017-18 MCAD-Jerome Foundation Fellowships for Emerging Artists.

Northern Clay Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, received $54,200 over two years in support of the Jerome Ceramic Artists Projects grant program.

Rochester Art Center received $46,000 ($23,000 per year for two years) to support the Emerging Artists Program for 2017 and 2018.

Saint John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota, received $51,500 over two years in support of The Saint John's Pottery's Emerging Artist in Residence Program in 2017 and 2018.

Smack Mellon, New York City, received $44,000 over two years in support of emerging New York City-based artists’ participation in the Artist Studio Program in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Socrates Sculpture Park, Long Island City, New York, received $50,000 over two years in support of the Emerging Artist Fellows Program for 2016-17 and 2017-18.

Studio Museum in Harlem received $38,000 ($19,000 per year for two years) to support the Artists-in-Residence Program for 2017 and 2018.

The Textile Center of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, received $37,000 in support of the Jerome Fiber Artists Project Grant Program and General Services for Emerging Artists.

FRANCONIA SCULPTURE PARK, Shafer, Minnesota, received a two-year grant of $78,000 in support of the Emerging Artist Fellowship Program. Franconia operates a 43-acre sculpture park, an active artist residency program, and community arts programming. Its mission is to provide physically and intellectually wide-open spaces where all are inspired to participate in the creative process. The FSP/Jerome Fellowships provide opportunities for emerging artists and/or emerging artist teams to create large-scale three-dimensional artwork to be exhibited at Franconia, develop technical and artistic skills, acquire experience in artistic practice, and participate in public engagement programs. Emerging artists in New York City and Minnesota are eligible for this residency program.

The Northern Clay Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, received $13,580 in support of a new Jerome Ceramic Artist of Color Residency Program. The Center's mission is the advancement of the ceramic arts. Ongoing programs include exhibitions, classes and workshops, studio space and grants for artists, and a sales gallery. This new initiative will support a one-year residency for a Minnesota-based emerging ceramic artist of color, providing access to a studio at the Center, continuing education and professional development through participation in Center programming, travel to a national ceramics conference, an honorarium, a touring exhibition, and a stipend for materials.

NORTHERN CLAY CENTER, Minneapolis, Minnesota, received $27,100 in support of the 2016 Jerome Ceramic Artist Project Grants Program, through which three emerging ceramic artists will be awarded project grants of $6,000 for individually designed advancement opportunities such as buying time for work in the studio, purchase of equipment, working a mentor, traveling for professional opportunities and workshops, and experimenting with new techniques and glaze recipes. Northern Clay Center's mission is the advancement of the ceramic arts. Ongoing programs include classes and workshops for children and adults at all levels of proficiency; exhibitions of work by regional, national, and international artists; studio space and grants for artists; and a sales gallery representing many of the top ceramic artists from the region and elsewhere.

The ROCHESTER ART CENTER, Rochester, Minnesota, received $23,000 in support of the 2016 3rd Floor Emerging Artist Series. The Center offers the opportunity for all people to understand and value the arts through innovative experiences with contemporary art. Through exhibitions and programs, it presents a welcoming, integrated, and diverse experience that encourages questioning, creativity, and critical thinking. In 2004, the Center initiated the 3rd Floor Emerging Artist Series, an exhibition program devoted to promising young artists working in Minnesota. The series reflects shifting trends in contemporary artistic practice and production and has helped to facilitate the creation of new bodies of work in a wide variety of media including photography, installation, sound, painting, drawing, sculpture, and film.
